Dog of the Week: Pam

PAM, 6-7-24, female feist/mountain cur mix, ~2yo, 20.6#, FOUND with 2 pups (Gwen & Delroy) at Fox Lake, New Marshfield.

Pam is one lucky shelter dog because she scored a loving foster home. It is hard to show in pictures, but Pam is one tiny dog at just 20 pounds. At a recent adoption event, everyone thought she was a young puppy, but she is indeed full grown and has already raised two puppies of her own. One of the great things about foster homes is that you can learn what dogs are like outside of the stressful shelter environment.

Pam’s foster reports that she is extremely sweet, loves cuddling, and prefers to sleep in the crook of your legs. Pam also enjoys scratches under the chin. Pam has already shown responsiveness to commands, and she willingly sits before putting the leash on and when coming back inside. She also does not bark much and will be a quiet companion for those who prefer less noise. Pam is also crate trained. With this list of credentials, it is easy to see that Pam is ready for her forever home. Can you give this small girl a chance?
