Sunny is just the sweetest little soul who has experienced more than she should have in life. At just a year old, this petite girl has likely already had a litter of puppies and has had to fend for herself on the side of a busy road. She was understandably terrified upon coming into the shelter and required another dog by her side just to walk the few steps out of her kennel.
The shelter is a hard environment for scared dogs and thankfully a loving foster home took her in. There she has built confidence at record speed. She now excitedly plays with the other dogs in the home and sleeps quietly through the night in her crate. She is well on her way to being potty trained. Now that Sunny can relax, her goofy little personality is starting to emerge. She will dive head first into swimming holes and secretly collects shoes from around the house to sleep with. She never chews them and just enjoys the comfort of her gathered treasures.
Sunny has done the hard work of learning to trust again, she just needs a forever family worthy of her trust and love.
