ATHENS, Ohio –– The City of Athens has announced that East State Street will be closed Tuesday, Dec. 16, at 74 E. State St., for storm sewer investigation. Road will be closed from 9 a.m. until complete. There will be no thru traffic or emergency traffic, motorists are asked to avoid the area.
