JACKSONVILLE, Ohio –– Edwin L. Sayre, 79 of Jacksonville, Ohio, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. Born January 12, 1945, in Pontiac, Michigan, he was the son of the late Milford and Jessie Andrus Sayre. He was an Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam era and retired from Allied Trucking.
He is survived by a son, Chris Sayre of Huntington Beach, California, and nephews, Steve and Darren Sayre.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Larry Sayre.
