Gary L. Bauman, 83 of Chauncey passed away Tuesday January 23, 2024, at his residence. Born January 14, 1941, in Marion, Ohio, he was the son of the late Robert and Mary Margaret Postell Bauman. He was an Army Veteran and formerly owned and operated Abe and Son Plumbing.
He is survived by a daughter, Roxanne Michele (Timothy Price) Richards; 9 grandchildren, Miranda (Chaz), Robert, Annie, Mary, Myriah, Gary, Kayla, Brandon, and Alisha; a brother, Mike (Debbie) Kevlin; a sister, Marlene Jarvis; a sister-in-law, Alice Bauman; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Suzette Bowlin; a son, Garrison Bauman; his first wife, Marsha Bauman; second wife, Mary Bauman; and a brother, Norman Bauman.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 29, 2024, at the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville. Interment will be in the Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield where there will be a military graveside service conducted by the Combined Color Guard Unit.
