GUYSVILLE- Gladys Lucille Kelley, age 77, of Guysville died Friday, July 12, 2024 at Riverside Landing Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, McConnelsville. Born July 17, 1946 in Guysville, she was the daughter of the late Harry W. King and Goldie L. Scott King.
She attended Shade High School and was a homemaker in the family home. She was a lifelong area resident and enjoyed watching soap operas, her dogs, feeding birds and her grandchildren.
Gladys is survived by three daughters, Dea (Robert) Grim of Belpre, Kathy (Michael) Klinglesmith of Guysville and Glenda (Jerry) St. Clair of Seffner, FL; two sons, William Thomas (Andrea) Kelley, Jr. of Flora, IN and Roy Kelley of Guysville; thirteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; two sisters, Eloise Clark of Athens and Hazel King of Guysville; two brothers, Harry (Alice) King and Jerry (Pauletta) King both of Shade; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.Beside her parents she is preceded in death by her husband William Thomas Kelley, Sr. who passed in 2003; a sister, Freda Petty; and a brother, William King.
A memorial gathering and visitation will be held on July 25th from 6-8 p.m. at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens.
