GLOUSTER — Imogene A. Burns, 95, of Glouster passed away May 29, 2023, at the Embassy of Logan. Born May 29, 1928, in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Wyatt and Minnie Hatfield Wilson. Imogene enjoyed planting and tending to her flower gardens.
She is survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Burns; four sons, Danny, Ronald, Dwayne and Paul Burns; three daughters, Mary Burns, Barbara Goble and Carolyn Kamento; and grandchildren, Melissa and Alex.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday. June 2, 2023, at the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville, with Linda Berry officiating. Visitation will take place Friday from 12 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place at a later date in Hollister Cemetery.
