
GLOUSTER, Ohio –– Jeffrey Lynn George, 73, of Glouster passed away Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, in Columbus. Born July 3, 1952, in Mishawaka, Indiana, he was the son of the late Robert Dean and Lorraine Likes George.
He was a graduate of Mishawaka High School. He retired from his work as a car salesman. He was an avid fan of Notre Dame, the Cleveland Guardians, and the Chicago Cubs. Jeffrey greatly enjoyed playing and listening to music, participating in karaoke, as well as engaging in basketball, bowling, billiards, and fishing.
He is survived by two daughters, Dawn (Richard Seymour) Taylor of Glouster and Melanie McGee of Dowagiac, Michigan; a son, Robert J. George of Battle Creek, Michigan; three grandchildren, Bryan Taylor, Gabe George, and Annorah Seymour; three sisters, Vickie Esch of Florida, Connie Amador and Julie Stephenson, both of Tucson, Arizona; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025, at the Anchor Church of Glouster, 43 ½ Madison Street, Glouster, Ohio 45732, with Pastor Mark Mealick officiating. Family will receive friends 3 p.m. Wednesday until the time of service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville.
