GLOUSTER, Ohio — Kaye Kelly Greenlees, 86, of Glouster passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023, at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital, Athens. Born June 4, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Paul R. and Mary Alice Skinner Kelly.
Kaye worked as a real estate agent for various companies and later became a broker and started Greenlees Realty. She also managed the Carriage Hill Apartments and worked as a librarian at the Glouster Public Library and on the bookmobile. Karen loved her children, grandchildren and was a fan of Elvis Presley. She enjoyed traveling and reading. Her house was always filled with books.
She married Dr. John P. Greenlees on Feb. 12, 1960, and they had five children: Maggi (Rick Gifford), Beth (Greg Beha), Jackie, Jill, and John. She has five grandchildren, Kyla, Sarah, Tory, Samy and Kirbi, and several great grandchildren.
In additions to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. John Greenlees; daughters Jackie and Jill; a sister, Barbara Nichols, and a brother, Gene Skinner.
Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, August 17, 2023, at the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville, with Rick Seiter officiating. Interment will be in the Glouster Cemetery.
