Lavania K. Rose, 70, of McArthur, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. She was born May 24, 1952, in San Antonio, Texas, the daughter of the late Paul V. and Evelyn J. (Gaton) Wallar. She was married to Richard D. Rose, who survives.
Lavania’s grandchildren were her pride and joy.
In addition to her husband, Lavania is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Brad) Houdasheldt of McArthur; son Bradley D. (Amy) Rose of McArthur; grandchildren Braylon, Deagan, and Lincoln Rose, and Taylor and Ryan Houdasheldt; and a brother, Paul F. Wallar of Wellston.
In keeping with Lavania’s wishes, cremation will take place. Burial will be at the family’s convenience in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
Donations can be made in memory of Lavania to a charity of the donor’s choice.
