Lloyd L. Douglas, 74, of Athens went to Heaven to be with his family on Friday, April 21, 2023. Born January 10, 1949, in Athens, he was the son of the late Harold D. and Wilma D. Hart.
Lloyd was an avid outdoorsman who loved deer and coon hunting as well as fishing. His all-time favorite outdoor activity was turkey hunting. He never missed an opportunity to hunt and taught several friends and family how to call in a turkey.
His family was his most precious part of life. He leaves behind his siblings, Gerald (Linda) Douglas, Ruby (Jerry) Misner, Deborah (Kenneth) McDaniel; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog and companion, Coop.
