The headline says it all – “Ohio lawmakers are turning our state into a joke.” This was in the Columbus Dispatch recently – “The General Assembly passed a bill that should clear the way for Joe Biden” to appear on Ohio’s ballot. Ok, so far, so good. But passage was opposed by 32 Republicans, including Jay Edwards of Nelsonville. Yes, the state representative for our area for some ridiculous reason thought that his constituents should not have the opportunity to vote for our president. As my old boss used to say, “Just thought you’d like to know.”
