To the editor,
While I’m glad to hear that fines for overtime parking at meters won’t be doubled, I was reminded by the conversation to voice my own opinion about the meters, themselves. That is, most of the time I cannot see through the glass cover due to weathering of the glass itself and the glare of sunlight on the glass. Bottom line: I have no idea what I have no idea how much time I have when using quarters unless lighting conditions are perfect. Am I alone???
