GLOUSTER — Marion L. McLaughlin, 76, of Glouster passed away Monday, March 27, 2023, at OhioHealth O’Bleness Hospital, Athens. He was born November 22, 1946, in Glouster.

Marion retired from Ryder Truck Rental, where he was a mechanic. He enjoyed fishing and playing music, especially the guitar.

He is survived by two sons, Marion William (Deborah) McLaughlin of Corning and Denny Wayne (Lucy) McLaughlin of Glouster; seven grandchildren, Marion Jr., Steven, Cody, Michael, Kaitlyn, Kayle, and Miranda; 10 great-grandchildren, Keely, Mariella, Evander, Cambrie, Marion III, Mikyla, Carter, Madeline, Bailey, and Xevier; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank McLaughlin; his mother, Rebecca Buchman McLaughlin; and siblings George, Jack, Johnny, Jerry, Kenny, Betty, Alice, Jean, and Linda.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 3, 2023, at the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville with Pastor Rick Seiter officiating. Interment will be in the Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster. Visitation will be 1–3 p.m. and 5–7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. A message of comfort may be sent to the family at www.morrisonfc.com.
