NELSONVILLE, Ohio — The Nelsonville City Council will hold a special meeting on Thursday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. at Nelsonville City Hall. The meeting has been called for:
- Executive session, pursuant to Ohio Revised Code 121.22(G), for the purposes of:
- Discussing matters related to public employment.
- Discussing collective bargaining negotiations and employment-related matters.
- Conferring with legal counsel regarding pending or imminent litigation involving the city.
- Consideration of new contract: Discussion and possible action regarding a proposed contract.
Nelsonville Code of Ordinances, § 4.07 special meetings: Any request for a special meeting and the notice calling same shall the subject(s) to be considered, and such meeting shall be limited to a consideration of such subject(s).
Comments may be made in person or emailed to councilclerk@cityofnelsonville.com by 1 p.m. Thursday. The meeting may be streamed on the City of Nelsonville YouTube channel. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
