GLOUSTER, Ohio –– James L. Miller Sr., age 66, of Glouster, Ohio, passed away Friday, Oct. 17, 2025, at home.
James was born July 14, 1959, in Lancaster, Ohio, to Gilbert Miller Sr. and Daisy Miller. He loved to watch old westerns and zombie movies, especially Gun Smoke and the Walking Dead. James enjoyed working on cars, welding, and spending time with his family. He loved being a father and grandfather and loved his coffee.
Surviving are his loving wife, Nora Miller; children, James Miller Jr, Lisa (Alan) Klontz, Donald (Karina) Miller, and Michael (Arielle) Miller; grandchildren, Chris, Carsen, Layne, Nick, Zach, Abbey, Jr, Brooklyn, Mikey, and many others; ; Mark (Lori) Miller and Sonny Hoy; close friends, Cindy Henderson, Robin Rock, and numerous other.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert Sr. and Daisy Miller; brothers, Gilbert Miller Jr. and Charles Hoy; nephew, Billy Hoy; cousin, Fred Miller; and fur baby, Brutis.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home of Logan, Ohio. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Rockbridge, Ohio.
Calling hours will be observed from 11 a.m.––2p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025, prior to the service at the funeral home.
