Dianne R. Kirkbride, 79, of Malta, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at her residence. She was born June 1, 1946, in Logan, to the late Levi and Delsie Smathers Wade.
She was a member of the Bishopville Church of Christ. Dianne was known for her cooking, especially her baking, and for her creativity and skill in crafts.
She is survived by her husband, Edward E. Kirkbride of Malta; a daughter, Jerri Kay Brown of Glouster; a son, Shannon (Glenda) Brown of Nelsonville; grandchildren, Michael McClelland, Amy (John) Woollet, Kassidy Brown, Karla Sunderlin, Brooke Brown, April Norton, Jenna Norton, Amanda (Jake) Jones, Amber Covella, Rhiannon Brown, and Jerimiah Brown; great grandchildren, R.J. McClelland, Brayden and Revan Sunderlin, Charlotte and Luca Woollet, Caleb Rexford, Charlee Russell, Chase Jones, Adriel Vess, Draven Vess, Poppy Vess, and Waylon Fennell; brothers, Zach and Russell Wade; and sisters, Marilyn Sikorski, Karolyn Starkey, and Anettie Noble.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Benny Lanning and Levi Wade; sisters, Marlene Wade and Brenda Joy Harden.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday May 5, 2026, at the Bishopville Church of Christ with Jon Hanning officiating. Interment will be in the Pisgah Cemetery, Union Township, Morgan County. A visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday one hour prior to the service.
