CHAUNCEY, Ohio –– Roberta Eileen Pierce, 74 of Chauncey, passed away on Friday, Oct. 31, 2025, after an extended illness. Born November 7, 1950, in Glouster, she was the daughter of the late Pryce and Pauline McFarland Bickley. She loved riding motorcycles with her husband, and together they traveled to many different places. Their shared adventures on the road created lasting memories. She deeply enjoyed and cherished time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Pierce; daughter, Connie Pierce; son, Norman (Brandie) Pierce; granddaughters, Raven (Ethan) Williams and Peyton Pierce; a grandson, Bryson Pierce; great grandchildren, Kyla and Carson Williams; a sister, Rose Hart; a brother, Eldon (Elizabeth) Bickley; sisters-in-law, Helen and Sandy Bickley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Norman Bickley, Jim (Jean) Bickley, John Bickley, Dayne (Carolyn) Bickley, Larry Bickley, Don (Leona) Hogue, Jr. Hogue, an infant twin brother, Robert Dean Bickley; brother-in-law, Cecil Hart; and some nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend special thanks to her Hospice team from Ohio Health with special mention to nurses Bob and Jessica and her aide, Sue.
There will be a private family graveside service at the Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
