
CHAUNCEY, Ohio –– Lenora Sue Way, 89, of Chauncey, died Sunday morning, December 14, 2025, at her home with her family. Born May 3, 1936, in Morristown, she was a homemaker in the family home.
A 1955 graduate of Chauncey Dover High School, she was a longtime member of the Chauncey Church of God. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, crafts and most especially being a mother. She and her family spent many winters in Lehigh Acres, Florida.
Lenora is survived by her husband of 70 years, Ronald T. Way; two daughters, Fawn (Carl) Dvorak of Cleveland and April (Tim) Thompson of Guysville; four sons, Ronald P. (Pamela) Way of Lehigh Acres, Florida, Christopher G. Way of Chauncey, Richard (Kim) Way of Wellston and Dana L. (Christina) Way of Chauncey; six grandchildren, Lexi Dvorak, Tosha Dvorak, Krista Rodrigues, Nichole Meese, Keith Meese, and Richard “Junior” Way; also several great grandchildren.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by a sister, Florence Gillespie; and two grandchildren, Cherish Willison and Misty Way.
Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, December 19, at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home with Gary Alton officiating. Burial will be in Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield.
