LOGAN – Nancy Y. Russell, 72, of Logan, passed away Friday, May 1, 2026, at the Embassy of Logan. She was born on January 15, 1954, in Nelsonville. Nancy enjoyed working in her flower beds, crocheting and knitting.
She is survived by her husband, Donald F. “Butch” Russell Jr. of Logan; her mother, Norma Jean Fouty of Doanville; a son, Donald F. (Amy) Russell III of Logan; a daughter, Francie (Jason) Holt of Oregon; grandchildren, Liberty Marie, Justice Asher and Legend Uriah; a great grandchild, Roslyn Honor; sisters, Penny Reynolds, Brenda Gillespie, Amy Lang, Joni Bateman, Bette Nell Russell, Samantha Ballinger, Missy Florke, and Becky Freer; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Fouty; a granddaughter, Honor; and a brother, Dick Fouty.
A memorial service will be held at noon Thursdaym May 28, 2026, at the Taylor Ridge Church of Christ. Family will receive friends on Thursday one hour prior to the service.
