Naomi Farley

ALBANY, Ohio – Naomi Ruth Farley, age 85, of Albany, died Sunday May 10, 2026, at The Laurels of Athens. Born September 25, 1940 in Stewart, she was the daughter of the late John Pollard and Myrtle VanNess Pollard.

A graduate of Rome Canaan High School, she was employed in nursing at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital and Kimes Convalescent Center, both of Athens. She enjoyed crocheting and crocheting many baby blankets for area mothers.

Naomi is survived by a daughter and son in law, Tracy and Steve Baker; two grandchildren, Haley (Kyle Barstow) Baker of Albany and Eric Baker of Albany; a sister, Carol Lucas of Guysville; and several nieces and nephews.

Beside her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, David W. Farley, who died May 5, 2018; two sisters, Delores Lucas and Eleanor Windland; and two brothers, John Pollard and Carl Pollard.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens. Burial will be in Stewart Cemetery, Stewart.
