Vaughn L. Campbell, 77, of Hebron, passed away Thursday December 18, 2025, at his residence.  He was born December 29, 1947 in Athens County. 

Vaughn proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Vietnam War. His bravery and dedication were recognized through several honors, including the Purple Heart, the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.  Vaughn was an avid outdoorsman and above all, cherished his role as grandpa.

He is survived by his wife, Tammie R. Losey Campbell of Hebron; a daughter, Miranda (Jared) Lane of Heath; two sons, Scott (Jacqueline) of Broussard, LA and Shane of Wheelersburg; grandchildren, Nicolas, Mark, Jacob, and Morgan; and a brother, Wayne Campbell of New Lexington.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rodney Campbell; his mother, Inez Stoltz Campbell; and a grandson, David Keirns.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville with Pastor Wes Humble officiating.  There will be a military service conducted by the Combined Color Guard Unit and the United States Army.  A visitation will take place Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.  Contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or at www.stjude.org.
