GLOUSTER — Patsy R. Ellis, 83, of Glouster passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 11, 2023. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandma, great grandma, sister, and friend. She gave her all to her family and her faith and we will never be able to fill the space left behind by her.
Patsy was a faithful member of the Bishopville Church of Christ and assisted with the food pantry where her presence will be greatly missed. She was an avid reader and could usually be found on the front porch enjoying the sunny day and a good book. She also enjoyed listening to and watching the birds that frequently visited the many bird feeders surrounding her home.
Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, Dodrall A. Ellis. They were happily married for 61 years and raised three children, Craig (Anita) Ellis, Suzan Ellis, and Jennifer (Michael) Lawrence.
Visitation will be held 2–4 p.m. Sunday, July 16, 2023, at the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville. A graveside service for family and friends with pastor Jon Hanning officiating will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 17, 2023, at the Franklin Hills Memorial Gardens, 5802 Elder Rd., Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110.
