Phillip Michael “Mike” Crow

Phillip Michael “Mike” Crow, 69 of Jacksonville passed away June 28, 2024, at Grant Medical Center, Columbus.  He was born in Athens, Ohio on December 20, 1954, to the late Cecil and Mary Margaret Jeffers Crow.  Mike was a sports enthusiast and loved watching football, basketball, baseball and golf.  He was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Bengals, and Cincinnati Reds.  Mike had a love for animals, especially dogs, and had a dog named Bojangles.  He was a member of the Jacksonville Eagles and V.F.W. where he was known by the community for his many years of service as a bartender.

He is survived by a sister, Sharon McCoy of New Marshfield; brothers, Keith Jeffers of New Marshfield and Roger (Janet) Crow of The Plains; nieces, Christy (Michael) McCandlish of New Marshfield and Kimberly Crow of Albany; a nephew, Robert Crow of Lancaster; a great niece, Jakayla Crow of The Plains; and a very special friend and caregiver, Liz Skinner of Jacksonville, who took care of him for many years.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Crow.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday July 13, 2024, at the New Marshfield Cemetery with Willard Love officiating.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville.  A message of comfort may be sent to the family at www.morrisonfc.com.
