Raymon R. Webster, Sr., 83 of Jacksonville, passed away Saturday May 24, 2025, at the Highland Oaks Nursing Center in McConnelsville. He was born November 1, 1941, in Cuyahoga County, a son of the late Harland D. and Bertha Edna Daines Webster. He was a Vietnam War Veteran, having served in the United States Air Force and retiring after 20 years of service. He was the former owner and operator of the Webster Furniture and Upholstery Store in Glouster. He was a member of the Bread of Life Church in Jacksonville and was a former Trimble wrestling coach. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by a son Raymon R. Webster, Jr., of Jacksonville; three daughters Donna Webster of Albany, Kelly (Scott) Christman of Glouster, and Brandi (Andrew) Hammon of Jacksonville; grandchildren Brandon (Natalie) Webster of Grove City, Kayla Hooper of Glouster, Megan (Jack) Weedon of Oceanside, California, Drew Webster of Fayetteville, NC., Abby (Mikey) Shust of Glouster, Emily (Kyle) Fairburn of Newark, Andrew (Linzie) Hammon of Newark, Chelsea (Kyler) Smith of Lancaster, Ryan (Alyssa) Hammon of Buckeye Lake, and Conner (Kaitlyn) Hammon of Newark; 10 great grandchildren; siblings Carolyn, June, and Fred; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn K. Parker Webster; grandsons Dylan and Jeremiah; sisters Shirley, Waunita, Aloha, Rosemary, Jean, Betty, and Helen; brothers Jerry, Charles, and Harland.
A Celebration of Life officiated by Pastor Ron Fierce, and a Military Service conducted by the United States Air Force and Combined Color Guard Unit will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday June 15, 2025, at the Bread of Life Church in Jacksonville.
