ATHENS, Ohio – The City of Athens announces that S. Shafer Street in front of Central Food Facility will be reduced to one lane with intermittent flagging beginning Monday, August 24, at 7 a.m. through the end of the day Friday, August 28, for ongoing work on the Ohio University Marching 110 Facility. Traffic will be maintained throughout the area. Motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible. The City apologizes for any inconvenience.
