COLUMBUS, Ohio — Shawn Foster McCombs, 48, of Columbus passed away July 19, 2023, at Grant Medical Center, Columbus, following an accident. Born June 19, 1975, at St. Ann’s Hospital in Columbus, he was the son of Mary Williams McCombs and the late James McCombs. He attended Trimble Local Schools.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by an aunt, Patricia (Wayne) Losey of Texas; special cousins Darrell (Tessa) Williams, Melissa (Kenny) Young, Jessica Williams (Robby Jenkins), Trish Williams (Greg), all of Glouster; and Jason (Shelby) Losey and Frances (Brad) Bond of Texas.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by cousins Claude Williams and Claudia Barnhart; uncles Darrell (Regina) Williams and Richard Williams; maternal grandparents Claude and Frances Williams; great-grandparents John and Essie McKee; great aunts Virginia McKee and Ruth (Melvin) Brooks; great-grandma Mary McKee; and great grandpa John Williams.
A cremation has taken place and there will be a graveside service held at a later date at the Glouster Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville. A message of comfort may be sent to the family at www.morrisonfc.com.
