ATHENS- Sondra Kay Sinclair of Athens, died Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at Highland Oaks Health Center, McConnelsville. Born August 7. 1943 in Athens, she was the daughter of the late John Robinson, Sr. and Dena J. Johnson Robinson.
A 1961 graduate of Shade High School, she retired from Stewart-MacDonald Mfg. of Athens, after 30 years of service.
Sondra is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Burke (Jerry Abrams) of Louisville, KY; two brothers, John Robinson, Jr. of Shade and Jeff (Suree) Robinson of Bangkok, Thailand; an aunt, Shirley Bowles of Athens; two nephews, John “J.H.” Robinson III of Peebles and Stace (Christeena) Robinson of Marietta; a niece, Amber Robinson (Matthew) Doggett of Michigan; two great nephews, Tyler and Bryce Robinson; a great niece, Halee Robinson; and two cousins, David (Denise) Bowles and Yvonne (Rich) Mayer both of Athens.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her nephew, Justin Robinson; a sister in law, Myra Robinson; and uncle, Harry Bowles; an aunt, Betty Johnson; an uncle and aunt, Hampton & Virgie Johnson; and grandparents, Emery & Cleo West Johnson and Cecil & Cora Robinson.
