Advocates of abortion access are now working in Athens County to preserve a woman’s right to choose. It’s a very important effort that requires the gathering of signatures to try to make the November ballot.
The Athens County Democratic Party, the American Civil Liberties Union and Ohio Physicians for Reproductive Choice — all these groups are collecting signatures in Athens County.
Proponents of this constitutional amendment need 413,000 valid signatures from at least 44 counties by July 5.
Please support the Reproductive Freedom Amendment by going to the Athens City Pool on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Volunteers will conduct a drive-through petition signing event.
