The Nelsonville Water Department has issued a boil order for SR 691 from the bike path to Kimberly Road, and Kimberly Road from SR 691 to Wolfe-Bennet Road.

The Nelsonville Water Department Crews are working on a 12-inch water line break between DeStieger Street and Harper Street. It may cause low to no water pressure to the east end of Nelsonville., and low pressure in the Village of Buchtel.

This boil order is due to the repair of a water main break and repair. The boil order will be in effect for the area until noon Thursday, Nov. 20.

Beginning Monday, Nov. 3, 2025, the entire public square, will have its water service shut off. A boil order will be in effect 8 a.m.–3 p.m. until Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025.
