Terry Lee Morgan, 55 of Glouster, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens. He was born Aug. 26, 1967 in Nelsonville. Terry was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by sons, Eric (Melissa) Morgan and Cory (Kelsey) Morgan, both of Glouster; a daughter, Shania Morgan of Logan; his mother, Nancy V. Smith O’Nail of Nelsonville; grandchildren, Skyla (Cleyton), Brightin (Savannah), Brandon, Blaze, Carsen, Aerial, Presley, Clayton and Quinton; great grandchildren, Cleyton and Kruz; a brother, Dave (Sandy) Clark of Glouster; a sister, Debbie Morgan of Nelsonville; the mother of his sons, Brenda Russell; sister-in-law, Judy Morgan; special cousin, Steve Lanning; and several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wilford “Butch” Morgan; stepfather who raised him, Charles Clark; brothers, Jim Morgan and Tommy Clark; an uncle, Crawford “Buck” Morgan; and two nephews, Jason and J.C.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville with Rick Seiter officiating. Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery, Hocking County. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
