- Ohio Department of Transportation:
- SR 682 railroad repair: Crossing closed between SR 682 between SR 56 and Armitage Road. Detour SR 682 to U.S. 33 to SR 682. Closure dates: Sept. 8–9.
- U.S. 33 and SR 682 roundabout: SR 682 at U.S. 33. Open with flaggers. The right shoulder is closed on U.S. 33 westbound. Off ramp from U.S. 33 west to SR 682 closed. Use the non-interchange exit for Chauncey then turn right onto North Plains Road. Estimated completion: Oct. 31.
- U.S. 50 RCUT: Reduced collision U-turn construction is taking place on U.S. 50 at Coolville. Lane closures are in place in both directions. Estimated completion: Oct. 31.
- U.S. 33 Athens-Meigs expansion: Motorists may encounter flaggers at the highway’s intersections with Pleasant Hill, Pleasanton and Rainbow Lake roads, as well as SR 681. Estimated completion: 2028.

- Canal Street project:
- West Canal Street from Madison Street to September Street began Monday, Sept. 8. Detour using Madison Street, West Columbus Street and September Street.
- Concrete and paving underway on East Canal Street from 2nd Street to Burr Oak Boulevard; roadway closed. Detour using Chestnut Street and Burr Oak Boulevard. Estimated completion: Oct. 31.
- Hocking Parkway on game days: Parkway will be closed to traffic between both ends of Loop Road 11 a.m.–6 p.m. during 2025 Hocking College home football games. Please avoid this area and use an alternative route on these dates.
- Game day schedule, all Saturdays: Sept. 20, Oct. 4, Oct. 18, Oct. 25, Nov. 8.

- #Dinefor9 Day: Multiple local establishments will participate in #Dinefor9 today, Tuesday, Sept. 9, and make a donation to the Joe Burrow Foundation, which provides resources to local underprivileged and underserved communities.
