Thelma M. Perkins, 106 of Glouster passed away Tuesday November 28, 2023, at her residence. Born October 28, 1917, in Trimble, she was the daughter of the late Grover Koons and Lillie Richards Koons Sheline. She retired from Ohio University. Thelma was a former member of the Glouster Three Star Senior Center and the Glouster Depot. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, baking, traveling and was an avid reader.
She is survived by a son, Robert Perkins of Hebron; two daughters, Sharon (Del) Leach of Pataskala and Carolyn Perkins of Glouster; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren; and nephews, Bill and John Koons.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Melvin and Irene Koons; a daughter-in-law, Evelyn Shafer Perkins; and a nephew, Greg Koons.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday December 2, 2023, at the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville with Pastor Trey Freeman officiating.
