ATHENS, Ohio – The City of Athens announces that Columbus Road between Yamaha and Goodwill will be reduced to one lane with flagging on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2026, for ongoing work on the Columbus Road Shared Use Path Project. The road will be reduced to one lane beginning at 7 a.m. through the end of the day. The City apologizes for any inconvenience.
