| ATHENS, Ohio – The City of Athens announces that the southern side of Park Place will be closed on Tuesday, August 18 and Wednesday, August 19 to install a fire hydrant and for road repair. Park Place will be closed starting at 8 a.m. Tuesday until work is completed on Wednesday. There will be no thru or emergency traffic. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
