COALTON — Woodrow Milford Bates, 63, of Londonderry passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023, in Coalton, Ohio. He was born May 8, 1959, in Vinton County, son of the late Woodrow Bates and Rosalie Lowry Roberts.
He was a retired roofer.
Woodrow is survived by his wife of 34 years, Deborah “Gerty” Whaley Bates; stepson Paul V. Remy Jr. of Chillicothe; step-granddaughter, Payton Remy; step-great-grandson, RJ Ocasio; and sisters Diane Fouse, Gracie Maxwell, Irene (Kenny) Smith, Suze (Randy) Nichols, Jane Williams and Betty Ann (Roger) Remy.
No services will be held. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
