David Wesley Dubbs

David Wesley Dubbs, 70, of Pomeroy, passed away August 3, 2025, at 10 a.m. Born March 24, 1955, in Los Angeles, he was the son of the late Jesse and Bonnie Rickie Dubbs. 

He is survived by the love of his life, Violet Hayman of Pomeroy; a sister, Mary Sterner of Longview, Washington; a son, David (Courtney) Dubbs of Chauncey; a daughter, Mary Moore of Galveston, Texas; stepchildren Julie Bondar of Charles Town, West Virginia, John Hunnell of Pomeroy, and Jennifer (Matt) Mullins of Pomeroy; brother-in-law Clarence Hayman of Lockborne; sisters-in-law Lisa (Bob) Johnson of Middleport, Valerie (Wayne) Will of New Haven, West Virginia, and June Schoolcraft of Cottageville, West Virginia; a special grandson, Hunter Mullins; and several extended family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by sons, Jesse and Richard Dubbs, and a brother, Gene Dubbs.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday August 7, 2025, at the Biram-Hayman Cemetery in Lebanon Township, Meigs County, with Bob Johnson officiating.
