Ohio ranks ninth nationally for numbers of attempts to ban or restrict books. We need books kept on the shelves.

Dog of the Week: Dottie
Dottie, 3-4-24, female beagle mix, 11y 8m. Just look at this adorable, old hound. Well, Dottie doesn’t exactly feel her age which is nearly 12 years young.

Cat of the Week: Calla
Calla – Female 1 year old. She is a one year old calico who is incredibly social, playful, and adores people. She is relatively independent when she roams the house playing and romping around.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 26, 2024, at Hughes Moquin Funeral Home in Athens, Ohio. A private burial will be held at West Union Street Cemetery.
