Community gives feedback on planned roundabouts in The Plains
Around 50 people attended a public meeting to learn more about and comment on the Ohio Department of Transportation’s plans to install two roundabouts at the intersection of on U.S. 33 and State Route 682 in The Plains.

New Ohio House district maps split Athens County
The new maps, adopted in late September, shift parts of Athens Township (including the city of Athens) and all of Canaan, Bern and Rome townships to District 95, which is represented by Don Jones (R-Freeport).
