LaVierre “Loring” Lovett Jr., age 72, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2026.

Dr. Jean Drevenstedt, 98, of Athens passed away at Hickory Creek Nursing Center, Brookside Unit, The Plains, on March 22, 2026.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday March 22, at the Bishopville Church of Christ.

Friends and family are invited to gather 2-4 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 2–5 p.m. Sunday, March 22, at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday March 21, at the Morrison Funeral Chapel.
