Burial will be in Conner Cemetery in Buchtel, at a later date.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 18, at Mount Hermon Community Church Cemetery in Amesville.

A celebration of life will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at the 13 Event Center, 15913 SR 13, Millfield.

A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, March 14, at the Morrison Funeral Chapel.

Funeral service will be conducted Friday, March 13, 2026 at the Chauncey Church of God, Mound St., Chauncey with Pastor Larry Swart officiating.  Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Waterloo Township.  Friends may call Friday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. 

Friends may call Wednesday March 11, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens.  Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, Athens with Rev. Phil Foster officiating.  Cremation will follow the service.

A cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of life held at a later date. 

In honor of Joe’s humble nature and request, no formal funeral will be held. He will be commemorated with a celebration of life and military honors at a later date.

Funeral service will be conducted Friday, February 27, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens with Rev. David Roach officiating.

Graveside service will be conducted noon Monday, March 3, at West Union St. Cemetery.
